VOTE: Who Should Host The 2019 Oscars?

For the first time since 1989, the Oscars are without a host and are not currently searching for a replacement. (RELATED: REPORT: The Oscars Won’t Have A Host)

With the annual award show receiving its lowest viewership figures ever in 2018, the Academy looked towards famous actor and comedian Kevin Hart to host the event. However, after Hart’s homophobic tweets from 2009 surfaced and faced criticism, the “Ride Along” and “The Upside” star dropped out of hosting the event with no intention of coming back. Less than a month remains until the nominees are read and the Academy are not planning on bringing on another host. Instead, the producers are planning on having multiple stars that will perform various segments in order to fill the hole left by Hart, according to Variety. The decision has created controversy with some being in favor of the new format and some thinking that going host-less will be detrimental to the show.
