Rams quarterback Jared Goff broke his social media silence late Monday night after losing to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Goff and the rest of his squad lost a hard fought game Sunday night. While he didn’t play well in the Super Bowl, he had a very impressive season as a whole. (RELATED: Patriots Beat The Rams In The Super Bowl)

He tweeted Monday night, “Not the way we wanted to finish this year off but thank you Rams Nation for riding with us all year. Special group of players and coaches…We’ll be back. Thank you all #GoRams.”

There’s not much else for Goff to say. Not everybody gets to win in sports, and sometimes you have heartbreaking losses.

That’s why we play the game, but Goff has nothing to be ashamed of. He’s only 24 years old and has already played in a Super Bowl.

That’s pretty damn impressive, even if he didn’t play well Sunday night.

Make no mistake, Goff and the Rams will be back sooner than later. You can bet on that. He’s a young quarterback, he’s got a bunch of young talent around him and he’s got Sean McVay as his coach.

The Rams might not have won Sunday night, but they have a very bright future ahead of them with Goff under center. I can guarantee you that much.
