Le’Veon Bell doesn’t appear to be taking reports that he’s overweight too seriously.

There had been a report several days ago that claimed the soon-to-be free agent could possibly weigh around 260 lbs. If true, that wouldn’t be anywhere near the weight the former Steelers star would need to be at in order to play.

However, the dynamic runner doesn’t seem to care much. According to a Sunday report from SteelersDepot.com, Bell went onto his Instagram live and said, “Wherever I do go, just know I’m gonna be ready, ‘260’ and all. I’m gonna be ready.” (RELATED: Pittsburgh Steelers Don’t Transition Tag LeVeon Bell, He Can Now Sign Wherever He Wants)

His trainer has also denied the report that Bell is overweight, but nobody seems to have a concrete idea of where his weight is at.

Despite taking the entire year off from the NFL, I find it extremely hard to believe that Bell is anywhere near 260 lbs.

He would have had to have packed on an absurd amount of weight, and I just don’t see that happening. The former Michigan State running back took the season off to save himself for a big contract.

Obviously, packing on the pounds wouldn’t exactly go hand-in-hand with that plan.

I really wouldn’t be that worried. Besides, any time that inks him to a deal is going to do plenty of due diligence.

They’re not going to throw a ton of money his way if he’s fat. I can promise you all that much.
