Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns didn’t seem too rattled after suffering through a scary crash.

Towns addressed the media Monday and said he thinks he only had a 5-percent chance of surviving the crash after getting hit by a semi-truck in Minneapolis. You’d think that’d be pretty damn terrifying for the Timberwolves star. Well, he was calm as he could be.

When asked he saw his life flash before his eyes, the NBA star responded with, “It happened too quick. I didn’t know what the hell hit me.” Watch his full comments below:

Imagine getting hit by a massive truck, only having a 5-percent chance of survival and then just casually describing it to the media like it’s just another day on the job. (RELATED: LeBron James Says ‘Space Jam 2’ Will Begin Filming In The Summer)

That’s the type of calmness I expect out of snipers. It’s not the level of calmness that I’d expect out of just about anybody else.

He’s one of the calmest and most collected guys I’ve ever seen.

I’m glad to see Towns is back in the lineup after the scary incident. I can’t imagine the fear that must go through a person after getting hit by a semi.

That’s what makes Towns’ demeanor so incredible. Let’s hope more people stay off the dangerous roads and don’t have to go through what he did.
