MSNBC hosts Mika Brezenski and Joe Scarborough struggled to name the core message of Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke‘s campaign Monday on “Morning Joe.”

“Who can tell me what is Beto’s clear message?” Brezenski asked the panel. She then went down the line, and no one could come up with a better answer than the fact that there was a “vague message” about responding to President Donald Trump. (RELATED: Beto O’Rourke Apologizes For Writing Fictional Fantasies About Plowing Over Children With A Car)

“I got his message. It’s: ‘Look, you wanna see it?'” Brezenski said, rolling up her sleeves, “‘I’ll roll up my sleeves and the camera zooms in, and I look really busy.’ I want to know what his message is!”

“The thing is, he doesn’t have a message right now. It’s all goop,” Scarborough joined in.

President Donald Trump also criticized Beto for looking busy in comments made to the press last week: “I think he’s got a lot of hand movement. I’ve never seen so much hand movement. I said, ‘Is he crazy or is that just the way he acts? I watched him a little while this morning, during I assume it was some kind of a news conference, and I’ve actually never seen anything quite like it.”

O’Rourke’s campaign website doesn’t currently have a page devoted to any clear policy agenda as of press time, but there are two pages dedicated to fundraising.

O’Rourke managed to earn over $6 million in the first 24 hours of fundraising, according to the campaign. The return was substantially higher in the same period than any other Democratic candidate currently running for the White House.
