Carolina Panthers lineman Taylor Hearn is expressing some remorse after engaging in a street brawl.

TMZ recently released a video of Hearn appearing to get absolutely jacked up by some random people, and it’s a pretty embarrassing look. The last thing the NFL or the Panthers want is a video circulating of a player getting rocked. (RELATED: Carolina Panthers Lineman Taylor Hearn Appears To Get Knocked Out During Street Fight)

The good news is that Hearn appears very aware of the stupidity of his actions, and is doing his best to acknowledge the issues at hand.

“Dear Panther Nation: I would like to offer my deepest apologies to the Panthers organization, my teammates and coaches, the fans and the league. I take full responsibility for my actions. There is no excuse for my behavior, and I will learn from my mistakes,” Hearn said in a statement Thursday, according to ESPN.

Listen up, everybody. Nobody should be getting into street brawls. That’s just a fact. People on NFL contracts absolutely shouldn’t be getting into brawls.

There’s absolutely nothing good that can come from it. Don’t be surprised if the Panthers come down hard on Hearn. A message clearly needs to be sent.
