Ariana Grande set the bar insanely high at her Coachella Weekend 1 show, bringing out special guests ‘NSYNC and Nicki Minaj.

It was hard to imagine how the pop sensation could possibly top herself at Weekend 2. But, in true Ariana fashion, she did just that.

Grande shocked festival-goers Sunday night by inviting Justin Bieber onstage for a surprise performance during her closing set at Coachella.

The “thank you, next” singer told the crowd she didn’t intend to have any special guests that week, but that something came together with a friend at the last minute. She then proceeded to call superstar Justin Bieber onto the stage. And, of course, the crowd went WILD!

It was the first time Bieber has performed in “like, two years,” he announced to the crowd. “I had to get my groove back, had to get my swag back. You know what I’m saying?”

The two music superstars shared the stage to perform Bieber’s hit song, “Sorry,” and afterward, the Biebs echoed Grande’s earlier statement, saying he also had no idea he’d be performing that night. “I came out here. I had no idea I was going to be on this stage tonight. Absolutely no idea,” he said.

The “Baby” singer then thanked Grande and the crowd for having him.

And just before leaving the stage, Bieber picked up the mic to make one major announcement.

“And, by the way,” he said, “album coming soon.” (RELATED: Justin Bieber Surprises at Ariana Grande Coachella Set, Teases “Album Coming Soon”)

OK, I guess we’ll accept his apology!
