“Serenity” is for sale, and I’m honestly wondering if a single copy will be sold.

For those of you who don’t remember, I was hyped as all hell when I first saw the trailer for the Matthew McConaughey film. I thought it looked great.

The whole concept was McConaughey being a former war hero living on an island who gets asked to kill his ex-wife’s current husband. (RELATED: Matthew McConaughey’s New Movie ‘Serenity’ Earns Only $4.8 Million At The Box Office)

What’s not to love about the concept?

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of actually seeing the movie. It was without a doubt the worst film I’ve ever seen. The first half was kind of cool, and then the audience was hit with the very reasonable twist that everybody was in a video game.

Yes, that’s correct. You read my sentence up above correctly. They’re video game characters! It was one of the stupidest concepts for a film ever thought up.

The only reason I didn’t walk out of the theater was because I just had to know how the absurdity would end. Now, you can purchase the film!

I’m a huge McConaughey fan, but anybody who wastes a penny on this movie is an idiot. Consider this a PSA for all of you. This movie was the worst movie of 2019, the past decade, the past quarter century and will likely go down as one of the worst entertainment ideas ever produced.

With McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, my expectations couldn’t have been higher. What an absolute joke. I’m considering my warning all of you my good deed for the day.

Don’t spend one damn cent on this film. You will regret it forever.
