Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is currently the man favored to win the Heisman.

According to numbers from SportsBook USA, Tua is first at 5/2 and Clemson gunslinger Trevor Lawrence is 7/2. You can see a full list below.

This makes no sense at all. Not one bit. How is Tua ahead of Lawrence? The young phenom for the Tigers slaughtered the Crimson Tide in the national title game.

It wasn’t even close. Lawrence was hands down the best player on the field. How does he not get put at the top of the list? (RELATED: Clemson Favored To Win College Football National Title, Georgia And Alabama Follow)

It makes zero sense. Go ahead and watch the highlights below if you think I’m wrong.

Anybody who thinks Trevor Lawrence shouldn’t be at the top of the list a grade-A idiot. Save your SEC biases for another day.

I’m a man of facts, and the fact is: Lawrence is the best player in the country and a defending national champion.

Pretending Tua should be ahead of him is offensive to anybody with a functioning brain.

Finally, while we’re on the subject of the odds, I love Jonathan Taylor at 16/1. Inject that straight into my veins.

The Wisconsin Badgers running back is in for a monster year, and I expect his numbers to be huge. Getting him at 16/1 is a bargain if I’ve ever seen one.

I can’t wait for the season to get here and watch SEC fans cry their eyes out when they realize Trevor Lawrence is miles ahead of Tua.

It’s going to be glorious, and I can’t wait for the reckoning.
