Donald Trump Jr. called increasing anti-Israel sentiment within the Democratic party “deeply troubling,” pointing specifically to anti-Israel Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan.

“It’s deeply troubling that we’ve reached the point where no one is shocked when sitting members of congress, like [Omar] and [Tlaib] side with Hamas terrorists over Israel,” Trump Jr. tweeted Monday. “By remaining silent, [D]emocrat leadership & presidential candidates are endorsing this insanity.”

The president’s son chimed in after Omar and Tlaib blamed Israel for retaliating against attacks from the genocidal terrorist group Hamas. Hamas launched roughly 600 rockets into Israel this weekend, many of which were blocked by Israel’s Iron Dome. However, several Israeli civilians were killed during the attacks. “When will the world stop dehumanizing our Palestinian people who just want to be free? Headlines like this & our framing it in this way just feeds into the continued lack of responsibility on Israel who unjustly oppress & target Palestinian children and families,” Tlaib said.

“How many more protesters must be shot, rockets must be fired, and little kids must be killed until the endless cycle of violence ends? The status quo of [Israeli] occupation and humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unsustainable,” Omar said. “Only real justice can bring about security and lasting peace.”

Omar and Tlaib have maintained fierce anti-Israel positions throughout their brief political careers, with both freshman congresswoman actively supportive of the movement to Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) Israel.

Both Omar and Tlaib have fundraised for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group with connections to several Islamic terrorist organizations, including Hamas.
