HBO dropped a chilling teaser for “Watchmen” on Wednesday afternoon.
The plot of the superhero series, according to Deadline, is as follows, “Set in an alternate history where superheroes are viewed as outlaws, the new drama from executive producer Damon Lindelof is rooted in the same universe as the source material but strikes out in new directions with unfamiliar characters and a different story to tell.” (RELATED: These Are The Sexiest Photos Of ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Star Emilia Clarke On The Internet)
Judging from the teaser released by HBO, there is going to be tons of blood, dead police officers and much more. Give it a watch below, but you might not want to fire it up before heading to bed.
HBO is just making heaters these days. Just straight fire. “Game of Thrones” is nearing an end, “Westworld” will be back in 2020 and it looks like we’re not going to slow down one bit when “Watchmen” gets released in the fall.
This looks awesome. I never read the comics, but I did see the movie a while ago. I wasn’t impressed, but this looks awesome.
Plus, Damon Lindelof is a genius. Have you ever heard of the show “Lost” on ABC back in the day? It was a massive success and he was one of the main reasons why.
“Watchmen” comes out in the fall, but no specific day is known just yet. I’ll make sure to let you all know. It looks like it’s going to be damn good, and you all know how much I love great HBO content.
