Clemson holds the top spot in the latest college football national title odds.

The teams with the top odds, according to Vegas Insider, are as follows:

  • Clemson 7/4
  • Alabama 9/4
  • Georgia 7/1
  • Ohio State 9/1
  • Oklahoma 12/1
  • Michigan 16/1
  • Texas 25/1

I really don’t understand how the hell anybody could ever favor anybody right now other than Clemson. The Tigers have Dabo Swinney running the program, Trevor Lawrence is under center and they’ve won two of the last three national titles.

The Clemson Tigers are the real deal, and should be absolutely favored above Alabama. I don’t care how long and how hard fans of the Crimson Tide cry, it won’t change the truth one bit.

You also have to love Ohio State sitting at 9/1. They have Justin Fields running the offense and will likely roll with ease through large portions of their schedule.

Fields is a physical specimen and has all the tools you look for in a dual-threat gunslinger. With him under center, the Buckeyes are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

As for my beloved Badgers, they’re rolling in at 50/1. I’d be borderline stupid to not take those numbers. It’s virtually free money. (RELATED: Will Jack Coan Or Graham Mertz Start At Quarterback For The Wisconsin Badgers?)

Last season is a thing of the past, and we’re coming for skulls in 2019. Graham Mertz and company are going to run and gun defenses right out of Camp Randall.
