I have absolutely no idea how this will go for LeBron James and company. Vogel’s career record is 304-291, which is barely above .500.
He’s most certainly not going to be a strong dictator in the locker room, and I find it super hard to believe LeBron won’t just walk all over him if that’s what he chooses to do.

Vogel might be a good guy, but is anybody convinced he can run the show with LeBron in town? I highly doubt it.
The Lakers just hired a guy who is barely above the .500 mark, and they want him to get control of the situation? Good luck with that. (RELATED: Magic Johnson Steps Down As The President Of Basketball Operations For The Lakers)

It’s LeBron’s team and Frank Vogel isn’t going to change that one bit. This past season was an absolute disaster, and I hardly believe former head coach Luke Walton was the main reason why.
Let’s not forget Magic Johnson also cut and run as soon as the season was over. Hiring a new coach, especially one like Vogel, isn’t going to fix the train wreck of a situation the team finds itself in.

Best of luck to Lakers fans everywhere. Sounds like you guys are in for a fun few years with Vogel running the show!
