Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum had an incredible tweet after beating the Denver Nuggets in game seven 100-96 Sunday.

McCollum hit a shot with seconds remaining to put Portland up by three, which pretty much ended the game. (RELATED: Damian Lillard Hits Game Winner Over The Oklahoma City Thunder)

Steven Jones tweeted a video of the impressive shot and commented, “CJ McCollum. Craig played great 1v1 defense what a huge shot. That’s tough.”

McCollum apparently disagreed because he responded with, “Great defense my ass.” The tweet has since gone viral and has over 14,000 retweets and 55,000 likes.

First, McCollum murders the Nuggets on the floor and then turns around to just murder their player Torrey Craig on social media.

It really doesn’t get much more ruthless than that. The young NBA star wasn’t satisfied with just eliminating the Nuggets from the playoffs. (RELATED: Los Angeles Lakers Hire Frank Vogel As The Team’s New Head Coach)

He had to rip out their souls on Twitter.

The Trail Blazers reward for winning is a date with the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals.

We’ll see how cocky McCollum is when he’s on the floor with Kevin Durant and Steph Curry. I’ve got nothing against Portland, and am actually a big fan of Damian Lillard.

However, they’re about to run into the best team in the NBA. It’d be awesome to see them win, but their work is cut out for them. That much is for sure.
