Border Patrol Honors Fallen Officers

The U.S. Border Patrol on Thursday honored the officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. This ceremony was a part of a larger recognition of all law enforcement during National Police Week.

Branch Chief for the Immigration Advisory Program, Althaea Redpath, said, “There is a crisis [at the border] and we have to really understand that there is a problem with that…we are tackling that situation right now, and I think we’re handling as best we can, and we will continue to do so.”
