New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady worked out with suspended teammate Josh Gordon on Wednesday.

The six-time Super Bowl champion posted a video of himself on Instagram throwing with Gordon, who was suspended indefinitely back in December for violating the league substance abuse policy.

Take a look below.

It’s not known right now when Gordon will return to the Patriots after his latest suspension from the league, but it’ll likely be at some point this season. (RELATED: Tom Brady Chugs A Beer In Epic Fashion. The Video Will Have Patriots Fans Cheering)

The fact that Brady is getting in some reps with him is probably a pretty good sign the Patriots superstar expects his big-time wide receiver back for games in 2019.

Brady didn’t win six Super Bowls by wasting his time. He’s surgical in the offseason, and I highly doubt he’d be getting Gordon involved if he didn’t think he’d have him for the season.

As for Gordon, I hope like hell he is able to go through rehab for whatever demons might be dogging him and get back into the NFL.

The man is absurdly talented. It’s crazy to think about what he could have accomplished if he had stayed clean from the start of his career with the Cleveland Browns.

It’s almost scary to think about. He’s a physical freak of nature.

We’ll have to wait and see when Goodell lets Gordon return to the field for the Patriots, but it looks like he’ll be ready whenever he’s given the opportunity.

That should have Patriots fans smiling as they prepare for 2019.
