Actress Jamie Lynn Spears joins a star studded cast for the new upcoming Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias.”
The show is reportedly set in South Carolina and follows the stories of three women who’ve known each other since childhood, according to a report published Monday by Deadline. Spears has been cast as Noreen Fitzgibbons, a woman who moved to the southern city of Serenity to work as a nurse.
Other notable names include Chris Klein from “The Flash” and Justin Bruening from “Good Behavior.” The three new stars join series regulars Monica Potter, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley. I don’t know about you, but I’m stoked to see Spears in something again. She was the heart and soul of Nickelodeon when she starred in “Zoey 101,” so I have no doubt that she will do amazing things in this new Netflix show.
To be honest, I probably wouldn’t have even watched it. However, now that Spears will be making an appearance as a regular I will be sure to tune in.
Not to mention that the show is a southern drama. Everyone loves a good southern drama.
