Media Overreacts To Pence’s Trip Cancellation

Vice President Mike Pence cancelled a trip to New Hampshire for an opioid conference last minute, prompting many conspiracy theories.

The White House has yet to give an explanation as to why there was a change of plans, which prompted the cancellation of the opioid event – though it is expected to be rescheduled. (RELATED: Pence Called Back To White House For Undisclosed ‘Emergency’)

‘Emergency’ reasons were initially sited at the reason for Pence’s abrupt cancellation. But the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, Marc Short, later said that this was false.
