Jenna Bush Hager welcomed her third child into the world Friday.
The “Today” show co-host celebrated the start of her maternity leave Friday and gave birth sometime after, according to a report published by Entertainment Tonight. Bush Hager and her husband Henry are already parents to two daughters Mila, 6, and Poppy, 3.
“Welcome to the world my darling Henry Harold “Hal” Hager! Hal came into the world Friday, August 2, 2019 at 9:02am and our life has never been sweeter,” she captioned a photo shared to Instagram on Monday.
Baby Hal weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces when he was born. The baby’s name comes from his father and his middle name comes from Bush Hager’s grandfather Harold Welch. (RELATED: Jenna Bush Hager Reveals She’s Expecting Her Third Child)
“We weren’t exactly sure about the name. Then his big sisters called him ‘Hal pal,’ and we thought, ‘This is just perfect,'” Bush Hager told “Today” this morning.
Bush Hager shared a photo of her two girls with the baby boy with the caption, “And our world made even sweeter when our girls met their baby brother.”
“…Mila and Poppy came and picked him out in the nursery, and they’re just crazy about him…The girls are so thrilled that they have a little baby brother all of their own,” she said.
