House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler and former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski shared a light moment Tuesday over NFL football, in an otherwise adversarial committee hearing.

Nadler told Lewandowski during the hearing that he was “glad to hear” that Lewandowski is a New England Patriots fan. (RELATED: Celebrate Tom Brady’s Birthday With His Greatest Moments)

“Regardless of whether he went beyond the four corners of the Mueller report and the answers he gave to the last questioner, regardless of that and I’m glad to hear he favors the Patriots even though that’s not in the Mueller report,” Nadler said.

Lewandowski was born and raised in the New England area, so it’s no surprise that he supports the Patriots.

The Patriots have won Six Super Bowl titles, including three in the past five years, and are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowls in NFL history. The Patriots have also played in 11 Super Bowls, which is the most for any team in league history. (RELATED: SILENCE OF THE RAMS: Belichick, Brady Win Sixth Super Bowl)

Lewandowski is also considering a run for senate next year in New Hampshire, where the Patriots are very popular.
