While we’ve heard rumors for years of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt splitting, this past weekend’s flurry of stories, launched by Britain’s News of the World, initially seemed to indicate a “Brangelina” breakup might finally have happened.
However, two very close friends of the unwed couple — including one of Hollywood’s major film execs — told this column Sunday the tales are not true.
