Little does he know, but Hef has a D.C. doppelganger: former Service Employees International Union (SEIU) President Andy Stern. While one sports the union bug and the other a Playboy bunny (or three), these big-time bosses have more than just gray hair in common.
Both gents are pretty hot, all things considered, and look great in a suit – though one clearly prefers his trademark smoking jacket. Stern has made more trips to the White House than he has the Playboy Mansion, but as far as we know, he’s never worn his pajamas to a press conference.
With Stern’s recent retirement amidst financial troubles at SEIU, and the impending possibility Hefner could lose Playboy, we’d like to suggest the two team up and host a showdown between Stern’s labor boys and Hef’s leading ladies. It’s unclear which side would win, but the matchup would definitely draw a big crowd and bring in some much-needed dough for both.
