No one remembers Herman Cain anymore. At least on Jeopardy.
During the gameshow’s airing on Tuesday night, none of the contestants attempted to answer the clue, “This pizza magnate and 2012 presidential candidate was a math major at historically black Morehouse College.”
That led Jeopardy host Alex Trebek to remark, “How quickly you have forgotten Herman Cain.”
Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, ran as a Republican for president in 2012. He memorably pushed his “9-9-9” tax reform plan and even briefly served as the frontrunner in the race, according to several polls.
But his candidacy came to an end after allegations of past harassment surfaced. Cain denied all of the accusations, but said the episode was too painful for his family.
