St. Louis Rams punter Johnny Hekker learned the hard way that actions have consequences after hitting Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Cliff Avril during the game Sunday.
Most punters do their best to avoid physical plays, but Hekker couldn’t pass up the opportunity to blindside Avril. Unfortunately for the Rams punter the rest of the Seahawks defense didn’t take kindly to the hit. On the next punt opportunity two Seahawks defenders rushed Hekker who instantly dropped to the ground in fear of getting pulverized.

After the game Seahawks defensive tackle Michael Bennett referred to Hekker as a “little girl.”
