You Don’t Have To Be A White Supremacist To Support Trump, But It Doesn’t Hurt

Font Size:

Congratulations, GOP: You’ve nominated a guy who’s actively playing to every false stereotype of your party. For decades, the Democrats have been calling you guys racists. (Ignoring the fact that they’re literally the party of the Ku Klux Klan.) So hey, why not prove them right?

David Rutz, Washington Free Beacon:

White supremacist and potential Donald Trump California delegate William Johnson called the GOP’s presumptive nominee “the real deal” Wednesday in an interview on CNN’s The Lead.

“Mister Trump is the real deal.”

This guy isn’t just some yahoo. He’s a Trump delegate.

If you don’t want clowns like this speaking for you, Republicans, too bad. You made your choice.

That’s just one of the many reasons I’m done with your party. I can’t defend this, and I can’t ignore it either. I can’t just wave it away. I can’t excuse it. There is no excuse. It’s repugnant.

I have no idea who’s going to win in November, and neither does anybody else. If somebody tells you she does, she’s just trying to sell a book. But I do know that I’m not voting for either of them, and I’m not going to pretend it’s a good idea to vote for either of them.

Go ahead, keep blasting great big holes in the ship. I’ll be standing over here on the shore, watching you sink.
