Greta Van Susteren Defends Dana Bash On CNN-Lewandowski Flap

In the wake of Corey Lewandowski‘s firing from the Donald Trump campaign and subsequent rapid hiring by CNN, some are questioning whether his interview Monday was quid pro quo for signing on to CNN. The presumption being that his presence would drive up ratings with him being able to speak with insider authority on the goings-on at Trump HQ.

Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren weighed in Friday and sided with Bash, saying on her blog, “I believe Dana Bash.” She continued, “Bash is an aggressive correspondent, works hards, and works her sources.” Bash herself commented on the allegations, saying their were “not accurate” on her Twitter feed:
