Hillary Clinton ignored a question from a reporter Tuesday about the Orlando terrorist attack perpetrator’s father who was spotted standing behind her at her campaign rally in Florida earlier this week.
After a tour of Borinquen Health Care Center a reporter asked, “Secretary Clinton, should your campaign have known that Omar Mateen’s father was at your campaign rally yesterday? Secretary Clinton, do you have time for a question?” (RELATED: Orlando Shooter’s Dad Goes To Hillary Rally, Has A Blast)
Instead of answering the question, Clinton turned her back on the reporter and focused her attention on the people who were standing around her.
After a rally in Kissimmee, Florida on Monday, Seddique Mateen, who has expressed his support for the Taliban, also expressed his support for Clinton when local reporters questioned his appearance at her rally. (RELATED: MSNBC Covers For Hillary After Terrorist’s Dad Attends Rally [VIDEO])
Mateen’s son, Omar killed 49 people in June in an attack at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
The Clinton campaign has released the following statement about Seddique Mateen attending her rally:
“The rally was a 3,000-person open-door event for the public. This individual wasn’t invited as a guest, and the campaign was unaware of his attendance until after the event.”
