When the Dallas Cowboys visited Seattle Thursday to play the Seahawks, rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott reportedly decided to do a little window shopping at the marijuana dispensaries.

The former Ohio State standout visited a weed shop called “Herban Legends” to check out the crop just a few hours before matching up with Seattle, TMZ reports. The Cowboys new running back didn’t purchase anything, according to TMZ sources. Nonetheless, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was not happy about his visit.

“Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process,” the Cowboys owner said after the game Thursday. “But it’s not good, It’s just not good. It’s just not good,” he said of Elliot’s actions.

Elliot rushed for 48 yards on seven carries in the first quarter of the Cowboys loss to the Seahawks. The running back is also under an ongoing investigation into an alleged domestic violence incident to which Elliot has denied accusations, ESPN.com reports.

Although recreational marijuana is legal in the state of Washington, it is still banned in the NFL.

“Again, that’s a part of just really getting the big picture here,” Jones went on to say. “So again, I’m aware of it. I heard the report. I would know how he is, and he needs to look at that. And the other thing is it’s just not good,” he concluded.

Dallas is looking to rely heavily on Elliott in this season and in the future. Although Elliott didn’t do anything legally wrong, visiting a pot shop is probably not the best way to start your NFL career.

It’s not good, Zeke. It’s just not good.
