Les Miles has taken a position with Fox Sports along with his gig with the SEC Network, Fox announced Wednesday. Miles will be joining former Oregon coach Mark Helfrich and former ESPN analyst, Danny Kanell.

Fox Sports President of Production and Executive Producer John Entz said, “Mark and Les give us decades of coaching experience and an inside knowledge of the college game, while Danny is a polished broadcaster with a great reputation. We can’t wait to get the season started later this week.”

Miles was fired last season after the fourth game and coaching 12 seasons with LSU. The coach finished with an 114-34 record and winning multiple SEC titles and a national title in 2007.

After getting the position with Fox Sports, Miles said he would probably need a censor button after never having to worry about the things he said on the sidelines with his players.

Miles will take his first shot at commentating during week 3 for the Northern Illinois vs. Nebraska game.
