A Missouri state senator who recently said that she hopes President Trump is assassinated is back at it again, this time with a tweet comparing the Republican to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
On Thursday, Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a Democrat, tweeted still images from a TV ad with superimposed images of Trump and Hitler.

Chappelle-Nadal, who represents a district near St. Louis, came under fire in August after she wrote on Facebook that she hoped Trump would be assassinated.
The U.S. Secret Service said it was looking into Chappelle-Nadal’s comment, though she appears to not have faced any disciplinary action. Chappelle-Nadal said she regretted calling for Trump to be killed, but she resisted calls for her resignation.
Democratic Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill called Chappelle-Nadal’s remark “outrageous” and said that she should resign. McCaskill is up for re-election in 2018. (RELATED: Missouri State Senator: ‘I Hope Trump Is Assassinated!’)
