“The Big Lebowski” is currently trending online because the Coen brother’s classic celebrated it’s twentieth anniversary of release Tuesday and “The Dude” still abides.
However “The Big Lebowski” is far from the only iconic movie to be released in 1998, and the year is still young. There are still nine months of movies to celebrate their twentieth birthdays. And just a year until these movie can legally drink.

Some movies have aged well. Some have spawned a series that still releases movies today, like “Rush Hour,” which just had it’s fourth movie confirmed last week. Others are a reminder of when Adam Sandler’s movies were actually pretty funny, before “Grown Ups 2” and “Jack and Jill.”
They also serve a reminder of actors who have been around forever and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, like Tom Hanks. Love them or hate them, these movies have a big birthday coming up this year.
