AJ McCarron recently signed a two-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, and it’s for a lot less money than people originally anticipated.
The former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback got $10 million over two years with $6 million guaranteed and another $6.5 million in incentives.

Remember when people were acting like McCarron was about to score some massive offseason deal for a team desperate for a quarterback? That was about a month ago, and now he’s only making a few million dollars.
It’s not like $6 million guaranteed isn’t a lot of money. It certainly is, but it’s hardly the starter’s money that was a possibility when it was so often discussed about where he’d go.
Hell, Chase Daniel just got more guaranteed money from the Bears and he’s hardly played. It sure was fun thinking McCarron was about to score some serious money, but we were all clearly very wrong.
