The hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” aggressively questioned the tactics of Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, on Wednesday morning.

WATCH:

Avenatti, who is helping Daniels get out of a non-disclosure agreement, has been making the rounds on cable TV defending his client and insisting that he has proof of her alleged affair with President Donald Trump. Mika Brzezinski,  Joe Scarborough, and Mike Barnicle all seemed skeptical of Avenatti’s tactics.

“This attorney, Michael Avenatti, is, like, feeling very Gloria Allred on me — overexposed in a huge way and in this specific case he is overexposed, Joe, and he has underdelivered,” Brzezinski said.

Scarborough agreed, stating, “If you’re a lawyer and you’ve got all the evidence you need that’s going to prove that you’re ultimately in the right, you don’t go on cable news 10, 12 times a day, you don’t call Michael Cohen a ‘punk punk punk’ creaming at the top of your lungs on Anderson Cooper’s show, and you certainly don’t tease out a CD and say ‘hey, look what we’ve got.'”

“I’m sorry, that’s bush league,” Scarborough slammed. “He’s overpromised and he’s underdelivered time and time again.”

Barnicle admitted too that Avenatti “doesn’t need the publicity.”
