Joe Scarborough mocked President Donald Trump’s claims of a witch hunt on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Tuesday, following the FBI raid of Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen.

Scarborough claimed any talk of a witch hunt was absurd because all the main players are Republicans.

“I do have to say, though, I know this will shock a lot of people, that watch our show and that follow Donald Trump every day. But he said so many things yesterday that need a little bit of clarification,” Scarborough said. “He talked about the conspiracy, yeah, there’s, this raging conspiracy against him. They’ve been after him from the beginning. This is a witch hunt.”

“Just in case you want to know who these witches are, that Donald Trump says are coming after him, they’re Bob Mueller, a Republican,” he continued.

WATCH:

“This is the conspiracy. You’ve got Rod Rosenstein, who was screaming about yesterday. He’s a life-long Republican, despite the fact that Donald Trump called him a Democrat from Baltimore. The attorney general, Jeff Sessions, who he was raging at. You and I both heard not only Donald Trump, but Jared Kushner and everybody in the administration saying he was the greatest, most stand-up guy, best Republican ever during the campaign.”

Scarborough didn’t mention the corrupt intelligence practices used against the Trump administration or special counsel Mueller’s legal team of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton supporters. He even tried to imply the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judges who approved warrants against Trump were on his side.

“The FBI director, who Donald Trump appointed, Republican. The four FISA judges that were leading this conspiracy, Republican, Republican, Republican, Republican,” Scarborough concluded. “The House run by Republicans. The Senate run by Republicans. And Mika, yesterday’s raid was run by the U.S. Attorney from the southern district of New York.”
