Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts announced Sunday evening on Twitter that she came home to a brand new puppy, and the tweet has people clamoring about whether or not it means she will run for president in 2020.

“When I got back from Washington on Thursday night, Bruce had someone new waiting for me. There’s a lot of pain and chaos in the world right now — we decided to bring a little gentleness and normalcy into our lives. Meet our new puppy (name TBD). He’s a sweetie,” Warren wrote on Twitter Sunday, posting the message along with a picture of her holding a puppy. (RELATED: Liz Warren Backs Beto O’Rourke)

Barely an hour after Warren’s tweet went live, reporters and members of the media began reading the tea leaves, calling the puppy tweet a sure sign that “she’s running.” (RELATED: Liz Warren Has Raised An Absurd Amount Of Cash)

Warren is raking in campaign donations like few others in the upper chamber of Congress and many believe she is a favorite to become the Democratic nominee for president in 2020. The Massachusetts senator cleaned up in the first quarter of 2018, bringing in $3.12 million. Warren has some $15 million in cash on hand for her own Senate re-election campaign.
