President Donald Trump delivered a full-throated endorsement for Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach on Twitter.
Kris Kobach, a strong and early supporter of mine, is running for Governor of the Great State of Kansas. He is a fantastic guy who loves his State and our Country – he will be a GREAT Governor and has my full & total Endorsement! Strong on Crime, Border & Military. VOTE TUESDAY!

Kobach is currently challenging sitting Kansas governor Jeff Colyer. Kobach has long been a staunch ally of the president on the issues of immigration and voter fraud. The Kansas secretary of state played a prominent role in Trump’s efforts to discern whether millions of illegal votes were cast in the 2016 presidential election.
Kobach does not necessarily need to win a majority of primary votes cast Tuesday but merely a plurality. Some establishment GOP organizations worry that Kobach’s ties to the White House and Trump’s most controversial programs will stem his election chances in November.
