The Daily Caller’s video columnist Stephanie Hamill said some journalists are exposing biased opinions in their reporting, causing trust in the media to continuously go down, Thursday on “Fox & Friends.”

“I don’t think that they’re aware of it. I think they think that they’re doing a good job. See, I don’t have a problem with people having opinions,” Hamill said. “I hate when people pretend that they’re unbiased journalists wearing the neutral hat when they go into work, when clearly they’re not.”

Hamill said trust in the media has been eroding for years because of some journalists’ dishonest coverage and political agenda. (RELATED: Stephanie Hamill Accuses Democrats Of Ignoring Abuse Allegations Against Keith Ellison)

“I want people to be able to trust the figures that they see on TV,” she said. “And, unfortunately, we’re not in that area.”

“Trust in the media has been going down for many years. I mean, if you even look at the coverage from Reagan to Bush and some of the journalists sleeping during the Obama administration — and then you compare it to what’s going on today — we have a lot of journalists that are running around, trying to bring attention to themselves rather than report the facts.”

Hamill specifically cited CNN’s Jim Acosta and Don Lemon for being theatrical instead of reporting the facts.

“You look at CNN’s Jim Acosta who regularly throws tantrums in the White House briefings to get more camera time,” she concluded. “We have Don Lemon with a straight face, who will go on camera and call the president a racist — clearly with no facts, and … this is a straight news journalist calling the president racist on national TV.”
