Ryan Lochte has hit another bump in the road of his career — quite literally.

The Olympic swimmer had a run-in with the law not once but twice last week — once in California and then again in Florida.

On Thursday night in Fla., Lochte allegedly hit another car with his Porsche Panamera. Nobody was severely injured. (RELATED: Brazilian Prosecutors Preparing To Prosecute Ryan Lochte For Gas Station Incident)

“Um, yeah … I would like to ummm, yeah … we just got in an accident,” Lochte, 34, told the 911 operator. “I rear-ended the people in front of me.”

Lochte was subsequently cited for “careless driving,” however it’s not suspected that Lochte was drunk at the time. He was, however, transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

It’s been a rough several days for Locthe. The swimmer was also involved in an incident in Newport Beach, Calif. where he allegedly tried to bust down his hotel room door in a drunken rage. (RELATED: Ryan Lochte Reveals He Has A ‘Serious’ Alcohol Addiction)

Shortly thereafter, Lochte publicly came out saying he is struggling with an alcohol addiction.

“Unfortunately it has become a destructive pattern for him,” Lochte’s attorney revealed to TMZ following the incident, adding he “has acknowledged that he needs professional assistance to overcome his problem and will be getting help immediately.

“Ryan knows that conquering this disease now is a must for him to avoid making future poor decisions, to be the best husband and father he can be, and if he wants to achieve his goal to return to dominance in the pool in his 5th Olympics in Tokyo in 2020,” his legal representation continued.
