The drama surrounding Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell just can’t seem to ever slow down.
There was tons of speculation about whether or not the electric back would end his holdout before the trade deadline, sign the franchise tag tender and then get shipped out of town.
Well, the trade deadline passed and Bell is still nowhere to be seen.
Four o’clock came and went and still no sign of Le’Veon Bell. So it’s now official. He cannot and will not be traded this season. Can only play for Steelers.

At this point, I think it’s more than fair to ask if Bell has any intentions of playing at any point this season. He clearly couldn’t give a damn about whether or not the Steelers need him to win.
If he did, then he would have been there on the sidelines for the first game of the season. Instead, he’s very publicly just hanging out doing nothing to help his squad win. (RELATED: Pittsburgh Steelers Superstar Reportedly Makes Decision If He Will Return To The Team)

I feel bad for Steelers fans more than anything. I totally understand Bell needing to get his money. Running backs don’t have super long lifespans in the league. They have to get paid while they can.
However, I’m sure it’s not easy for the fans to sit there and watch one of their best players not take a snap.

I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see how this whole saga ends. Something tells me fans won’t like the result.
