Michael Strahan and his former daytime television cohost Kelly Ripa are no longer on speaking terms.

The former “Live! with Kelly and Michael” cohosts, who got along for four years during their show, have reportedly abandoned all efforts to get along. (RELATED: The Next ESPN? Tom Brady And Michael Strahan Are Starting A Sports Platform)

“I learned through all that went down with that, you can’t convince people to like you,” Strahan told Time magazine of the disagreement. “I haven’t spoken to her in a long time.”

Strahan left “Live! with Kelly and Michael” several months before his scheduled departure, and left Ripa feeling “stunned and upset.”

But sources close to Kelly say it’s not the fact that Strahan left, it’s more that he left her feeling stranded.

“People are missing the point if they think Kelly is mad at Michael for taking the job,” a source close to Ripa said at the time. “She’s not of the opinion that signing up with ‘Live!’ has to be some sort of lifelong commitment. But there is a way to go about things, with courtesy and respect and decency, and none of those things were done here.”

Strahan now works as an anchor for the third hour of “Good Morning America” and as a football analyst for Fox Sports. Ripa’s newest cohost is Ryan Seacrest, in ABC’s hit morning show “Live! with Kelly and Ryan.”
