Don’t expect to see new episodes of “Ozark” anytime soon on Netflix.

According to Den of Geek, filming for the third season of the hit show began in May and will continue through October. That means we won’t be getting any new episodes on Netflix until 2020.

Season two came out in August of 2018. That means it could be a two year break before we go back to Marty (Jason Bateman) and all the trouble his family finds themselves in. (RELATED: One Of The Greatest Shows Ever Made Is Officially Coming Back For Another Season)

This news really is a bummer. It really is. Of course, I’d rather have Netflix take its sweet time and get it right, but these long breaks in-between shows are starting to get to me.

It’s going to be to be multiple years for “Westworld,” and we also had a huge break for the return of “Game of Thrones.”

Again, I’ll stomach anything for great quality, but these gaps are killing me, especially for a great show like “Ozark.”

“Ozark” is one of the coolest shows made in a long time. It’s about a family that launders cartel money in an isolated part of Missouri.

Surrounded by criminals, redneck drug lords, hunted by the FBI and more, the audience gets taken for one hell of a fun ride.

You’re missing out if you’re not watching already.

Let’s hope “Ozark” returns in early 2020 and not closer to 2021. I’m not sure I can wait that long for new content.

Get it done, Netflix. Get it done correctly, but get it done!
