Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has continued to make fun of the fact he held out from the team.

Gordon got his first snaps of the season on Sunday in a loss to the Broncos. Prior to that, he hadn’t take a snap of NFL football all season because he wanted a new deal. (RELATED: Melvin Gordon Ends Holdout With The Chargers)

He eventually returned without getting one, but he has poked fun at the holdout situation. First, he starred in a Dr. Squatch about holding out.

Now, he’s starring in a Lids commercial about needing a job that dropped Sunday.

As I said when he did the first commercial, I like Melvin Gordon. I think he’s a hell of a good player, he is a solid guy and he dominated for my Wisconsin Badgers. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

I’ll be pro-Gordon until the end. After the things he did for Wisconsin, he’ll always be okay in my book.

Having said that, I’m not sure fans of the Chargers will feel the same way. He’s out here pretty much laughing about the whole ordeal, and Los Angeles is 2-3.

Gordon might be back, but I’m not sure there’s anything really funny about this situation. It’d be one thing if the team was winning.

Crack all the jokes if you’re winning. The thing is, the Chargers aren’t winning, and they just lost to a bad Broncos team.

Hopefully, the Chargers start stacking up wins so all of this ultimately doesn’t matter. Otherwise, patience is likely going to start running out among the fanbase.
