A love letter written by Michael Jordan is currently up for auction, and it’s expected to sell for a ton of money.

According to Darren Rovell at The Action Network, a letter written by the six-time NBA champion 31 years ago is currently going for nearly $12,000 at action. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The former NBA star wrote the 20-page letter to a woman named Amy Hunter. This is also the third time the letter has been sold at auction.

The gigantic success of “The Last Dance” has almost certainly boosted its value.

You can read the entire letter from Jordan here. It’s pretty interesting, and it’s mostly about the expectations of being “put on a pedestal and viewed to be the perfect role model.”

Mostly, I had no idea Michael Jordan was such a romantic dude. He wrote 20 pages! This wasn’t some brief message written to a woman he used to date.

He damn near wrote a novel. The dude must have a huge heart.

Also, isn’t it kind of weird to have a love letter written by someone and not intended for yourself? It seems very strange.

It’s an incredibly private and personal thing, and it’s also not something I’d want any part of. You’re pretty much buying part of a relationship.

Either way, “The Last Dance” has put Jordan back into the spotlight, and I’d encourage you all to watch it if you haven’t already.

It’s absolutely incredible.
