#ReplaceEllen began trending Monday on Twitter following reports of sexual misconduct and a toxic work environment on “The Ellen Show.”

The trending topic occurred after WarnerMedia opened an investigation into the show, according to a report published by the New York Post. Despite #ReplaceEllen trending, the talk show host is reportedly set to begin filming her show this month.

“Ellen’s Game Of Games” will begin filming Aug. 24 and “The Ellen Show” will premiere Sept. 9., according to the New York Post.

“She’s fighting to protect the show and what she stands for,” a source familiar with the show told the New York Post. “She is very upset about what happened and determined to fix the problems. She takes full responsibility. But no way is she quitting the show. That’s total BS.” (RELATED: REPORT: Toxic Workplace Allegations Could Be ‘An Apocalyptic Ending’ To Ellen DeGeneres’ TV Career)

Most recently, executive producers and other staff were accused of sexual misconduct. On top of that, 11 former employees accused the production team of fostering a hostile workplace environment. The allegations included racist comments and intimidation among other things.

The former host of Australia’s “Today” show also came forward and openly discussed his experience with DeGeneres. Neil Breen claimed producers told him that he wasn’t allowed to look at DeGeneres or speak to her while she was on set.
