The mayor of Danbury revealed the city is naming a sewage plant after comedian John Oliver.

Mayor Mark Boughton made the announcement on Facebook, according to an article published Sunday by the Associated Press.

“We are going to rename it the John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” the mayor said in the Facebook post. “Why? Because it’s full of crap just like you, John.”

Naming the plant after Oliver comes after the comedian ranted about the city during his HBO show “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”

“If you’re going to forget a town in Connecticut, why not forget Danbury?” Oliver said on his show, the outlet reported. “Because, and this is true, f*ck Danbury!” (RELATED: HBO’s John Oliver Insults Melania Trump As ‘Semi-Autonomous’)

Oliver claimed he knew “exactly three things about Danbury. USA Today ranked it the second-best city to live in 2015, it was once the center of the American hat industry and if you’re from there, you have a standing invite to come get a thrashing from John Oliver, children included, fuck you.”

Oliver also made fun of Boughton and other mayors in 2017 for pitching the cities as locations for Amazon’s second world headquarters. Boughton revealed Amazon opened up a distribution facility in his social media post.

“And, oh by the way, thanks for showing that Amazon video,” Boughton also said, the outlet reported. “We did get Amazon here in Danbury.”
