This is America. In this country, we win Super Bowls and we win world wars. We go to the moon while the rest of the world watches and wishes they were us.

Football is part of this country’s DNA, and there’s nothing that can stop us. Coronavirus threw everything it had at us, and it still couldn’t stop football.

Now, we’ve finally arrived at the first Sunday of NFL action for the 2020 season. If that’s not a reason to crack a beer and celebrate, then I don’t know what is.

It’s been a long war against coronavirus, and it’s been a tough war against coronavirus. Today, we get to declare a major victory in the fight.

We get to watch some NFL action. If that doesn’t bring a smile to your face, then you’re probably a communist.

Text your buddies to come over, fire up the grill, crack a few beers and enjoy your beautiful Sunday. It’s a great day to be an American.
