Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sounds fully supportive of head coach Mike McCarthy.
The Cowboys have had an abysmal start to the 2020 NFL season. Dak Prescott went down with a fractured ankle, they just got rocked by Washington and are currently 2-5. That’s made some people wonder whether or not McCarthy is already on the hot seat. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Bostic with the dirty hit on Andy Dalton – how. was this necessary? Big fine coming and IMO this guy should be ejected #DALvsWAS #NFL2020 #NFL #DallasCowboys #CowboysNation #WashingtonFootball #SportsTalkLine pic.twitter.com/p6Kkhq8Kff

Well, it doesn’t sound like that’s the case at all. According to Jon Machota, Jones appeared on 105.3 The Fan for a Tuesday interview, and said “I got my man” when discussing McCarthy.

I don’t think it matters how badly this season goes, I see no situation where McCarthy can be viewed as being on the hot seat.
He’s in his first year with the team, the pandemic royally screwed up training, the preseason was completely canceled and Prescott is out with a fractured ankle.
Add all that up and you can’t crush McCarthy just yet.

Having said that, McCarthy is responsible for the attitude and culture in the building. To an outside observer, the Cowboys certainly look low energy.
Hell, Andy Dalton was caught on camera yelling at his own offensive line prior to getting lit up against Washington.

Trust me, McCarthy isn’t getting fired, and I’d bet just about anything on it.
