ESPN’s Mark Jones isn’t a fan of mine!
Earlier Thursday, I called out Jones for spreading the lie that Jacob Blake was unarmed when he was shot by police in Kenosha. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
During the Lakers/Bucks game Wednesday night, Jones told the viewers this lie, and we know it’s a lie because Blake had a knife, according to the Wisconsin DOJ.
How did Jones respond to me calling him out? Did he apologize for the lie? Did he issue a correction? Did he do some more research to find out where things went wrong during the broadcast?
ESPN broadcaster @MarkJonesESPN spread a terrible lie when he told viewers Jacob Blake was unarmed when police shot him.
That’s 100% false, and anyone with access to the internet knows it. Will Jones apologize or is fake news now acceptable? https://t.co/j7WQ3Cc2Zu

He didn’t do any of those things! The answer is that he blocked me! Very mature, Mark. Very professional!
UPDATE: ESPN liar @MarkJonesESPN has blocked me after I called him out for lying about Jacob Blake being unarmed when police shot him.
This is now where we’re at in America. 1) Spread vicious lies about the police. 2) Don’t apologize. 3) Block people who expose you as a liar. pic.twitter.com/GNQmp4A84s

This is honestly pathetic more than anything else. Imagine having such thin skin that you can’t even admit when you’re wrong on national television.
It’s also not like it was a little white lie. He didn’t tell a woman she was skinny when she was 50 pounds overweight. He told viewers that police shot an unarmed man.
How the hell does a mistake like that get made by accident? Anyone with access to the internet knows the claim Blake was unarmed is nothing more than a lie.
Facts matter, and those of us with platforms have a responsibility to give people the truth.@MarkJonesESPN spreading lies about Jacob Blake being unarmed does nothing other than divide people and cause more hatred. It’s disgusting.

Hopefully, Jones finds a way to grow up and acknowledge his mistakes. If not, he’ll just continue to embarrass himself.
P.S.: It feels good to shake off the dust and get in a solid feud again. It’s been way too long.
