NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers gave fans a peek at what the “Jeopardy!” lectern looked like while he was filming, and he had some quirky notes.

Rodgers explained the meaning behind his sticky notes, which included reminders like “stand up straight” and “don’t pick your nose,” in the caption of his post shared Tuesday on Instagram.

“This is the @jeopardy podium, and my sticky notes from the 2nd day of filming,” Rodgers captioned the photo. “I used a lot of these stickies over the couple days of filming and put reminders on there like ‘Speak Less’, which was an ode to Paul Rudd on Forgetting Sarah Marshall, during surf lessons; ‘do less’. ‘Slow Down’, a reminder for me when reading the clues. ‘Stand Up Straight’; every time I’m reading clues I’m bent over, so that was a reminder to stand up in certain moments when I knew I was on camera.” (RELATED: Aaron Rodgers Has Great Reaction To ‘Jeopardy!’ Contestants Failing Packers Question In Spectacular Fashion)

“‘Relax’ and ‘Energy’ were just a couple other good reminders as well,” he added. “And the last one, was just to check if anyone was looking at my podium between games. Turns out, John the stage manager was, and we had a good laugh about it.”

Rodgers is really taking this whole temporary guest host thing really seriously. “Jeopardy!” producers decided to do a rotation of guest hosts following the death of the game show icon Alex Trebek.

He’s already said that he does want to be the next permanent host, so maybe we’ll see that happen.
