HBO reportedly has the wheels turning on another “Game of Thrones” prequel.

According to Deadline, Amanda Segel has been chosen to write the upcoming prequel series “10,000 Ships.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

Deadline wrote the following details about the project’s plot:

The drama is expected to follow the journey made by warrior queen Princess Nymeria and the surviving members of the Rhoynars, who traveled from Essos to Dorne following their defeat by the Valyrian Freehold in the Second Spice War.

“10,000 Ships” will be the second “Game of Thrones” prequel to get underway. “House of the Dragon” has already started filming and is expected at some point in 2022.

As I’ve said many times before, I’ll take all the “Game of Thrones” content that you can feed me. Literally inject it into my soul.

I just rewatched the entire original series, and it only made me fall in love with it more. Do I still hate the ending?

Without a doubt, but it’s also still one of the greatest sagas that we’ve ever seen on TV.

Now, HBO has one confirmed prequel already filming, and a second one is reportedly underway. If that doesn’t fire you up as a fan of great content, then you just don’t know amazing television when you see it.

Hopefully, “10,000 Ships” and “House of the Dragon” both live up to the insane hype that I’ve built up in my head, and make sure to keep checking back for the latest updates as we have them.
